Light insulating mortars Isobet and Styrobet

Isobet and Styrobet are light insulating mortars, composed of recycled EPS granules, vermiculite, with cement as a binding agent and additives to obtain better properties.

The difference between Isobet and Styrobet is twofold:

• Styrobet has an even higher compression strength than Isobet (0.6 N/mm² compared to 0.3 N/mm²); Isobet, however, has a better insulating value than Styrobet (0.085 W/mK compared to 0.10 W/mK)
  
• Styrobet is supplied in a ready to use package: all ingredients are included, even the cement (during mixing only water needs to be added).
  Isobet is packaged without the required amount of cement: during mixing 25 kg of cement and water needs to be added.
